Carpooling & Other Options

BCC encourages carpooling and other alternative transportation. If you drive alone, expect to allow extra time to locate a parking spot on campus, particularly during the first week of a quarter.

Carpooling

Student carpools (three or more people) enjoy reserved campus parking. Contact BCC Public Safety in the K Building to pick up a student carpool pass or for information. Locate riders through Metro Rideshare or call (888) 814-1300.

Biking to Campus

Bike racks are mounted on all Metro buses, and BCC provides bike racks throughout campus. Showers and clothes lockers are available in the gym.

Commute Trip Reduction Program (CTR) for BCC Employees

Incentives are available to employees who use alternative methods of transportation. Some employees are eligible for discounted bus passes or carpool reimbursement (depending on hours worked and hours commuted per quarter). Learn more about CTR@BCC.
