New Student Assessment, Advising and Registration for Summer and/or Fall2008!

Get Started at Bellevue Community College for Summer quarter 2008
Please read and follow all 4 steps outlined for a successful start at BCC!

Notes:

if you are a Distance Education Student, please contact Liz Anderson.
If you are a Running Start Student, please contact High School Programs.
If you are tranferring credits in from another college, visit our Transfer-in website then meet with an advisor for an unofficial credit review.

Step 1: Apply for Admissions

Apply online at: www.bellevuecollege.edu/ or in person in the Student Services Building “B”, 1st floor. Non-refundable application fee: $28.00

New student registration begins June 2 for Summer/Fall quarter

Previous BCC Students: If you have been absent for four or more quarters, re-apply to register for credit classes.

Step 2: Take English and Math Skills Assessment:

If you have no previous college experience, you are required to take the English and math skills assessment.

If you have completed previous English and math coursework, take a copy of your transcript to the Assessment Office located in B132.

Drop-in assessment available to meet the demands of your busy schedule.

To take the skills assessment, please bring a government-issued photo ID and a $18.75 fee.

We recommend that you take the skills assessment the same day you meet with your advisor. To do this, you could take advantage of drop-in assessment and advising Monday thru Wednesday in order to get ready all in one stop! Read more below.

Step 3: Get Academic Advising

Drop in advising for new students begins June 2 to September 17; Monday thru Wednesday.
Mondays: 10:00-4:30
Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 10:00-5:30 pm

If you have no previous college experience, It is highly recommended to meet with an advisor.

If you have college experience, meeting with an advisor is still highly recommended. Please bring in a copy of your unofficial transcript(s) to review with an academic advisor.
