Background:
A graduate of Anacortes High School, Marissa will compete as the starting center this season for the Bulldogs. Marissa enjoyed a successful 2006-07 season making 2nd team All-Tournament at the NWAACC championships. She was also named athlete of the year in 2006 at Anacortes. Her greatest sports moment this far was playing in the state semi-finals game against Chief Sealth in 2006.

Her goals for the season are get on the 1st team all NWAACC and win the NWAACC championship. After BCC she plans on transferring to a 4 year university and pursuing a degree in business and law.

Marissa lists her favorite movie as Dirty Dancing.
