Professional/Technical Degrees & Certificates

BCC offers a broad selection of credit and non-credit programs in professional and technical fields. The degrees and certificates currently available are grouped by general categories below. The numbers in the A.A. degree and credit certificate columns are the total credits required. In most cases, a full-time student can complete a 90-credit program in two academic years, a 45-credit program in one academic year, a 30-credit program in two quarters, and so on. The non-credit certificates can be completed within 4-7 months.

A # sign indicates a program with selective admissions criteria. Students interested in these programs should contact the department for entrance requirements, application timelines, and other details; they must still complete the regular BCC admissions process as well.
