  About CITE...
Headquartered at Bellevue Community College, the Center for IT Excellence (CITE) is a statewide resource for:
  • Community and technical colleges,
  • K-20 educational system, and,
  • Information technology (IT) industry.
CITE, as an information resource and solutions-provider regarding model educational programs, supplies:
  • Best practices for IT education and training;
  • Up-to-date research, including IT trends that impact hiring and educational needs and Business growth across industry sectors in Washington State;
  • Information dissemination; and,
  • K-20 faculty professional development conferences and student events.

CITE is affiliated and co-located with the National Workforce Center for Emerging Technologies (NWCET) at BCC. Sponsored by the Washington State Board for Community and TechnicalColleges, CITE is one of eleven Centers of Excellence in Washington and the only one of the Centers devoted to Information Technology.
