Information for Instructors
All IT instructors are invited and encouraged to participate. The program is designed to be available during three day intervals in June, July and August 2005. Please review the requirements to get an idea of the expectations:
  • Participate with Workplace Hosts in their day to day activities and become involved in deliverables on the job as needed.
  • Interact with the Workplace Host on methods, techniques, approaches and tools required to complete job assignments.
  • Keep a daily log of interactions with the Workplace Host and complete a week-end report on lessons and skills learned.
  • Participate in a follow-up interview with CITE to report on how the experience has enhanced curriculum, program and students.
  • Be willing to sign a non-disclosure agreement if required by the Workplace Host.

Please note that you will be responsible for any costs associated with travel to the Workplace Host location for the duration of the Instructor Job Shadow. Check with your institution to see if faculty development funds are available. CITE will pay each Instructor Job Shadow participant a $100/day stipend after completion of the project.
