Information for Businesses
All businesses are invited and encouraged to participate as a Workplace Host. The program is designed to be available in June, July and August 2008. Please review the requirements below to get a better idea of the expectations:
  • Provide one or more employees to become a Workplace Hosts that will accommodate one or more Instructor Job Shadow opportunities. Instructor Job Shadow opportunities are 3 days and can be arranged with one employee at the Workplace Host or rotate amongst a team of employees.
  • Workplace Hosts will involve the Instructor Shadows in their day-to-day activities, provide advice, examples, and real work experience.
  • Workplace Hosts will allow the business's name, logo and photographs to be used in publicizing Instructor Shadowing on the CITE web site, newsletter and other materials.
  • Workplace Hosts will assign an Instructor Job Shadowing Workplace Coordinator, whose responsibility it is to be the focal contact person for the CITE Instructor Job Shadow Program Manager.
