This photo shows the ferry Lincoln releasing cars onto the ferry dock, located where the downtown marina is located today. A schedule, with arrival and departure clocks, can be seen near the center of the photograph.

The Pastime Cafe, off to the left, was a popular Kirkland hangout for many years.
