State and Federal works study jobs both on and off campus are posted in the
Career Center. The interview process is self-directed. Choose a position that
fits your skills and class schedule and schedule an appointment with the supervisor
listed. If hired, the supervisor will assist in filling out the necessary
papers: W-4, and BCC Authorization form. Students may work up to 19 hours
a week. However, your earnings can never exceed the amount of your award.
Students must be enrolled for a minimum of 6 credits to remain eligible for
a work study award and must make academic progress as defined in the Satisfactory
Academic Progress Guidelines which are available on the Financial Aid web
page.
Student time sheets will be processed by the supervisor and checks will be
distributed on the 10th and 25th of each month worked.
