Courageous Teaching, best practices in pluralism



The Library Diversity Grant and the BCC Pluralism Programs held a 4-hour workshop
for 20 BCC Faculty Members from varied disciplines.


At the Workshop Faculty:

  • Explored methods of incorporating content from multiple perspectives.
  • Discussed ways to respond to diverse learning styles and to create a more inclusive classroom environment.
  • Found out how your colleagues are diversifying their style & content.
  • Created or refined an assignment that can be used in the classroom.
