certificate program last week for volunteer work totaling more than 5,000 hours so far. The Red Cross has been the beneficiary for the past 1½ years of
team projects by students in the program’s final class. The students have completed a wide

a commemorative plaque to Margaret Murphy, director of BCC’s Continuing Education Business and Professional Programs, and Jorja
Gunderson, program
coordinator. Launched in 2001, the program has graduated about 250 students to date. |
