Fitness Center

 

The Fitness Center is geared to maintaining and enhancing the health, physical fitness and well-being of all BCC constituents (students, faculty, staff and community members). The center staff will work with individuals to develop programs specific to individual needs.

 

The Fitness Center features a balanced fitness circuit workout - a terrific total-body workout - using many different types of cardiovascular and strength equipment. Some of these include:

 

  • Stairmasters
  • Treadmills
  • Rowing ergometers
  • Life Steps
  • Stationary Bikes
  • Weight Machines

 

Enrollees in a Fitness Center program may use the center anytime during the hours of operation. Grades are based on the number of workouts completed during a quarter. A workout is considered to be a minimum of 40 minutes, and only one workout a day will count toward a grade.

 

Enrollment Options:

Students:

enroll in PE 110, 111, or 112 for 2 credits. Students may choose to take the class for no credit by signing up for an "N" grade at the time of registration.


Staff and Faculty (part-time included):

enroll in ADFIT 020 for no credit.

 

Community Members:

enroll in ADFIT 010 for no credit.

 

Hours of Operation

Monday – Thursday: 6:30am to 8:30pm

Friday: 6:30am to 6:30pm

Saturday: 10:00am to 1:00pm

 

Summer Hours
Monday - Thursday 6:30am to 11:00am
