Physical Education
A variety of activity classes that transfer as part of an Associate Degree at Bellevue Community College are available each quarter. Two department certificate programs are also available for students interested in pursuing a career in exercise science, sports medicine, fitness training, physical education or adventure education. The certificates may be completed independently or as part of a two-year AAS transfer degree in preparation for a four-year BA program.

Wilderness Skills Certificate
The 18-credit Wilderness Skills Certificate may be completed independently in as little as six-months, or as part of an Associate in Arts and Sciences Transfer degree in two years. The certificate prepares students for a wide range of careers in Adventure Education including elementary/secondary schools, camps, community centers, corporate recreation programs or state parks.

Personal Fitness Trainer Certificate
The 19-credit Personal Fitness Trainer Certificate may be completed independently in two quarters, or as part of a two-year Associate in Arts and Sciences Transfer degree program. This certificate prepares students for a career as a Personal Fitness Trainer while providing a solid background for a career in exercise science, sports medicine, physical education instruction, or as a fitness club manager.
