SEAFAIR TORCHLIGHT PARADE Seafair is Seattle’s largest festival. It lasts for over a month and is spread out throughout the city. One of the major events of Seafair is the Torchlight Parade. It is the largest parade in the Pacific Northwest with more than 300,000 people lining the streets of downtown Seattle. Drill Teams, floats, bands, equestrian units, giant balloons, and clowns make this parade truly unique. Of course, it wouldn’t be summer in Seattle without the famous Seafair Pirates. There is no doubt that they will be stirring up trouble, firing their cannons, and getting into sword fights once again this year. When: July 26 (5:00pm—10:30pm) Where: Meet at the outside the BCC bookstore in the circle-drive Cost: $3.00 You’ll probably want to bring money for dinner downtown or some food!
