JOB SUMMARY: The Grounds & Nursery Specialist 2 performs skilled gardening work in the maintenance of BCC main campus grounds, landscapes, pathways and parking lots. Under general supervision, the Grounds 2 personnel also performs skilled tasks requiring knowledge of cultivation, and maintenance of lawn, trees, and ornamental plants, such as pruning, transplanting plant material, and applying chemicals.

This position is covered by union shop provisions as the result of a majority vote by employees in the bargaining unit.
