POSITION DESCRIPTION: Under the general direction of the Vice President of Equity and Pluralism, the Administrative Assistant provides administrative support and confidential duties for the VP. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing support in the following areas: budget monitoring, review budget requests, provide advice and information; maintain VPs calendar and provide email support; schedule and arrange meetings; and make travel arrangements. In addition, responsibilities include institutional records management; coordinating departmental purchasing; assisting with report preparation, handling of sensitive confidential materials and issues; facilitating the timely dissemination of information for the VP; and work cohesively as a member of the unit’s leadership team; taking a proactive role ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the unit; and representing the VP as assigned.

SALARY The salary range is $42,264 - $50,717 with placement based on education and related experience.
