some pictures of what parts of the Internet look like. Very, very cool.

Internet from its very beginnings.
HTML Goodies
There are tons of HTML help sites on the Internet, but this one is the one that this webmaster
likes. The site provides information from the most basic to advanced, all in easy to understand
language. The search engine for the site could be improved, but you can usually find the
information that you need despite it's problems.
Internet
Standards Archive
This site provides a searchable archive for RFCs (Request for Comment) from the Internet
Architecture Board. RFCs are posted and then people are allowed to comment on the internet
architecture that is proposed. While there may not be anyone controlling the content that is
on the Internet, RFC are how the architecture of the Internet is standardized. Warning: RFCs
are very dry and technical!
NetLingo
The NetLingo Dictionary of Internet Words "contains definitions of hundreds of words that
are emerging as a new vocabulary surrounding the technology and community of the Internet
and the World Wide Web."
Web Developer's Virtual Library
This site provides information on all aspects of web development: programming, design, and
graphics. It is important to consider all elements when designing pages for the web.
