| Celebration is Bellevue Community College's vocal jazz performing and recording ensemble. The members of this select ensemble make a one year minimum commitment to strive for the highest level of professionalism in their musicianship, group interaction, and performance. The choir performs a broad range of literature, stretching from traditional jazz to the latest in jazz fusion and contemporary acappella music. Receiving recognition from the International Association of Jazz Educators, Celebration has recently performed in New Orleans and Disney World. The ensemble is scheduled to perform at several of Seattle's jazz clubs. In addition, Celebration will soon create an annually produced CD, and they are in the process of preparing for invitational tours to Hawaii in 2001 and the Jazz Festival in Europe, 2002.
