BCC Drama Department presents
musical, Pippin July 24-26

 

BELLEVUE, WASH. - Bellevue Community College’s Drama Department presents the rousing musical “Pippin” on July 24, 25 and 26.

Shows begin at 8 p.m. each day, with an additional matinee at 2 p.m. on July 26.

Performances will be held in both BCC’s Stop Gap and Carlson Theatres, located in Building E on the south courtyard of BCC’s main campus (3000 Landerholm Circle S.E., Bellevue, at the intersection of S.E. 28th St. and 148th Ave. S.E.).

Tickets, at $12 ($10 students), may be purchased through Ticket Window, at www.ticketwindowonline.com.

“Pippin” is the story of a young man who encounters war, politics, revolution, sex, drugs and parenthood on his path to find meaning in his life.

The winner of several Tony Awards in its 1973 Broadway debut, "Pippin" offers music and lyrics by Stephen Shwartz.

"Pippin" is directed by BCC Drama Instructor and Program Chair Tammis Doyle, with choreography by Melissa Edwards.
