A Unique Program In Washington State
Bellevue Community College has the only radiation therapy technology program in Washington State.
This two year, 24 month program's curriculum is designed to meet the academic and clinical education needs of today's radiation therapists. Didactic studies are integrated with clinical experience to provide the student with a strong educational foundation.
Clinical education classes are held at affiliated hospitals and clinics located throughout the Puget Sound. During Summer Quarter students continue this training throughout Washington State.
The Radiation Therapy Technology Program at Bellevue Community College is accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology. Graduates are eligible to sit for the radiation therapy certification examination administered by The American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT).
The Radiation Therapy Technology Program is a self-supported course of study and there are variations from traditional Bellevue College procedures. Current tuition costs are available through Imaging Sciences, A251 at (425) 564-2316.
